Hércules

Hércules Modesto de Souza started sculping in wood when he was only 12 years old. Working frequently at the Centre of Popular Culture Mestre Noza, the little artisan learned from great names part of the art of Juazeiro do Norte. At only 16 years old, Hércules had already sold pieces to France, Germany, United States and Chile. The daily life and the celebrations of the Northeast of Brazil are Hércules’ main source of inspiration.
