André Menezes

The artist from Pernambuco aims at encouraging a look into recycling and conscious consumption, promoting creative economy with the use of decorative elements that come from the trash. André Menezes created a technique called “reclipaché”, which according to him is the combination of three other techniques: recycling, paperwork and mache. The artist uses as raw material to his work recyclables, cardboard, polystyrene, newspapers, plastic and glass bottles, paper, wood, paint and glue.
