Adriana Siqueira

Adriana started working with ceramics helping her sister, Sil de Capela, one of the most renowned and important ceramists of Brazilian folk art. In this initial moment, Adriana would prepare the clay and assist in the execution of small jackfruits that hanged in the already famous jackfruit tree. Encouraged by her sister, the artist developed her work in an independent manner. Today, her jackfruits changed in proportion and are produced in large scale in incredible realistic formats.
